Alexo Umbrella
This sunshade is timeless. GLATZ has been producing the Swiss design icon ALEXO® for more than eight decades. Even from a distance, the top of the umbrella - without or without a flounce - signals that fine craftsmanship is celebrated here. Other features include a round frame and a varnished ash wood support pole. With its nickel-plated brass gear joint and long centre pole, the canopy can be tilted at a range of angles in line with the position of the sun.
Material and technology:
The pole is made of varnished ash timber and the gear rim joint of nickel-plated brass. The cover of the ALEXO® without a flounce is reinforced with leather corner mounts.
Operation:
To open, hold the sunshade at a comfortable angle and push the slide outwards until it clicks into place. Then, angle the sunshade according to the location of the sun using the finely ribbed gear rim joint.
